Industries

Built for teams where data privacy is not optional.

Clinics, law firms and online retailers lose hours every week hunting across systems, and they cannot just paste their data into a chatbot. We build hotkey tools that find the right place across your systems, keep the data where it already lives, and use AI only the way your rules allow, including not at all.

Concept, not product: the industry examples below describe how we would design a build. None of these industry tools exists yet. Looking Glass for SAP is the one working beta, and each build’s data flow, access and audit behavior is set in its written specification and tested before release.

How we design for privacy

Seven rules for every build.

These are design commitments for custom builds, set out in the written specification before we write code. They support your compliance work. They do not replace it.

01

Navigate, do not copy

The tool finds the right place and opens it in the system where the data already lives. It does not build a shadow copy of your records.

02

Permissions come from the source

It uses each person’s own sign-in and the permissions you already set, including matter-level walls and role-based access. It never widens who can see what.

03

AI is a choice, and can be off

No AI, a model on the computer, or one on your own account under your agreement. An AI-off mode is always there, and nothing goes to a model you have not named.

04

Send the minimum

Only the fields a task needs, never card numbers, and masked or tokenized values where possible. We design the data flow before we build.

05

Read first, ask before changing

Searches only read. Anything that changes a record asks first, and a production lock can refuse it outright.

06

Leave a trail you own

Design goal: a local, readable record of who opened what, kept by you. Coverage and retention are set in each project’s specification so your privacy and security people can review it.

07

Say what it cannot do

We write down the limits, and we do not claim certifications we do not hold.

Healthcare

Practices, clinics and billing teams

Where the time goes

Finding the right patient screen, the referral or intake form, the payer policy or the current procedure across the EHR, practice management, portals, shared drives and ticketing.

Example commands

Open the referral form for cardiology · Payer policy: prior authorization · Open today’s schedule

Privacy by design

Designed to open the right screen in your own EHR without reading, copying or storing the chart, with access and audit left in the EHR. Any AI is optional: none, a model on the computer, or one under a Business Associate Agreement you hold. Searches ask for the minimum necessary.

What we will not claim

That any tool is “HIPAA compliant”. Compliance depends on your safeguards, contracts and workflows. We design to support your obligations and show you the data flow.

Where we would start

One team, such as billing, referrals or the front desk, with your IT lead and privacy officer in the first conversation.

Industry

E-commerce

Online retailers and brands

Where the time goes

Tracing one order or customer across the storefront, helpdesk, inventory or warehouse system, carriers, payments and spreadsheets.

Example commands

Order by email or number · Open this customer’s ticket history · Where is this shipment

Privacy by design

It keeps out of card data: payment tokens and masked values only, never full card numbers. It shows only the fields a task needs to support privacy rules such as CCPA/CPRA and GDPR. AI is opt-in, limited to fields you allow, with an AI-off mode.

What we will not claim

“PCI compliant”, “out of PCI scope”, or “GDPR compliant”. Scope depends on your architecture and needs a qualified assessor.

Where we would start

Your support or operations team, with a short list of the lookups they repeat all day.

Also a strong fit

Other teams with the same problem.

Where systems are scattered and the data is sensitive. This ranking is our judgment, not market data.

Also a strong fit

IT service providers

Ticketing, device management, identity, documentation and runbooks are scattered, and technicians need the right one fast.

Also a strong fit

Accounting and financial advisory

Client files, filing status, documents and practice systems, with sensitive financial data and ID numbers that need least-privilege access.

Retail stores

Stock, holds, receipts, customers and schedules, needed while a customer is at the counter.

Also a strong fit

Insurance agencies and brokers

Policy, carrier, claims, renewal and document systems, handled alongside sensitive personal and financial information.

Also a strong fit

Logistics and freight

Shipment, warehouse, carrier and billing systems, and a steady stream of status-chasing.

Also a strong fit

Wealth management advisors

Account context across portfolio, planning, document and compliance systems, with strong confidentiality expectations.

What we will not say

  • That a product is “compliant” with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS or any bar rule. Compliance belongs to your organization and your configuration.
  • That AI data is never retained or used for training, unless that is contractually and technically true for the exact setup, and we put it in writing.
  • That local AI is automatically private. It still needs access control, endpoint security and retention rules.
  • That a search is complete or always current. We state what each connector covers and where it does not.
  • Any certification, partnership or endorsement we do not hold.
